Kay grew up in Okoboji, Iowa. She received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Iowa State University in 2010 and her law degree with distinction from the University Of Iowa College Of Law in 2014. While in law school, Kay was an editor of the Iowa Law Review.
Prior to joining Crary Huff, Kay worked in the legal department for a financial investment firm. As counsel of record in arbitration matters and a key advisor on a variety of risk management issues, Kay’s experience helps her relate to the diverse needs of corporate clients.
Kay is an active member of the Iowa State Bar Association and serves on the Public Relations, Rural Practice, and Young Lawyers Division Mentoring Committees. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Iowa Organization of Women Attorneys.
Outside the office, Kay is involved in the community, enjoys ballet and is discovering the running trails in the Siouxland area.
