Sabrina is a lifelong resident of Siouxland, having been born and raised in Jefferson, South Dakota. She attended Heelan High School and graduated summa cum laude from Eastern New Mexico University. She graduated law school from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2004 with high honors. Sabrina interned for Crary Huff Law Firm during law school and has been with us full time since her graduation. Sabrina was admitted to practice in South Dakota in 2004 and in Iowa in 2005.
Sabrina has extensive experience handling divorces, custody cases, modifications, child support cases, stepparent adoptions, business litigation, civil disputes, land disputes, municipal law and personal injury cases, to name a few. Her strong work ethic developed from growing up in a family business in which she and her siblings were expected to work from an early age (her dad often said you can’t violate any child labor laws if you don’t pay them). She strongly believes the best trait she can bring her clients is to never look for a fight if a matter can be resolved amicably, but not to be afraid to fight for the interests of her clients if necessary. This personal motto has led to many successful outcomes and satisfied clients.
Sabrina is a member of the South Dakota State and Iowa State Bar Associations. She is also a member of the South Dakota and Iowa domestic relations and family law sections. She serves as the City Attorney for Jefferson, South Dakota and the Assistant City Attorney for North Sioux City, South Dakota.
Sabrina resides in rural Jefferson with her husband Roger and three very active sons. When she is not sitting on the sidelines of a school or sporting event for her children, she can be found outdoors (somewhere near water), reading voraciously or cheering for the family’s beloved Oklahoma Sooners.
