Rosemary Sheehan is a native of Sioux City, a 1977 graduate of the University of South Dakota, School of Law and a Charles Hall Dillon Scholar. After graduating magna cum laude in 1960 from Clarke College, Rosemary obtained her Masters Degree from the University of South Dakota in 1969.

Rosemary joined the firm in 1977 and was admitted to practice law in Iowa that same year and in South Dakota in 1998. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Section of Real Property and Business Law) and the Fellows of the Iowa State Bar Foundation. She is also a member of the Iowa State (Section of Real Estate and Title, Commercial and Bankruptcy and Business Law), South Dakota State and Woodbury County Bar Associations and the Siouxland Estate Planning Council.

Rosemary served as chair of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section Council of the Iowa State Bar Association from 1993-1995 and again from 1998-2000. She also currently serves on the Real Estate Committee for the Iowa State Bar.

Rosemary's general practice includes, but is not limited to, banking, commercial and retail collections, construction, corporation, business and real estate law. She has given bar seminar lectures on revisions of Articles 2A, 3, 4 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and real estate mortgage foreclosures.

Rosemary has three adult children and a grandson. In her free time she enjoys reading, walking, playing tennis, traveling and studying genealogy. She is a past president and long time board member of the Sioux City Symphony, a CASA advocate and Sioux City Art Center docent.
